Nine months pregnant, she was attacked in Paris

Just days before giving birth, stylist and content creator Mélody Collange, known as Mélococo, was the victim of a violent attack in Paris. The incident, which occurred on November 21, 2025, deeply shocked her followers and reignited the debate about safety and incivility in the capital.

An altercation that escalated

While crossing a pedestrian crossing, Mélody Collange claims that a driver "drove straight at her" before stopping abruptly, accusing her of crossing against a red light. According to her account, she calmly replied that she was within her rights, at which point the driver threw a cigarette butt in her face and began insulting her. Mélody Collange then reportedly responded verbally, thinking the man had left.

The driver reportedly stopped further down the road, got out of his vehicle, and violently grabbed her by the throat, lifting her off the ground. Completely stunned, Mélody recounts being paralyzed with fear, unable to defend herself despite the violence of the scene. Several passersby intervened, forcing the man to release his victim before fleeing.

A mother-to-be in shock

Visibly shaken, Mélody Collange explained that she had experienced "a state of total shock," especially since the attack occurred on the very day of her due date. Back home, at her partner's urging, she went to the police station to file a complaint. The officers were reportedly "appalled" by the violence of the alleged attack.

On Instagram, the stylist expressed her anger and sadness, denouncing a "public danger" and calling for awareness of the normalization of aggressive behavior towards women, even in situations of great vulnerability.

An investigation has been opened to identify the attacker.

Melody Collange's complaint has been registered, and Parisian police are currently investigating to identify the driver. The stylist and content creator, who has nearly 88,000 followers and is known for her participation in the M6 show "Les Traîtres," hopes that the surveillance camera footage will help quickly identify the perpetrator.

In summary, the attack on Mélody Collange sadly highlights the alarming rise in verbal and physical violence against women in public spaces. She now hopes that justice will be served and that her story will prompt action from both authorities and the public.
